Here is a quick bit of information to get you started. To qualify as a returning resident and be eligible for the associated concessions on duty, you must meet at least one or more of the following criteria and any applicable conditions:

• Be Jamaican of at least 18 years of age
• Have lived overseas for a minimum of 3 years
• Non Jamaican whose spouse is a returning resident
• Jamaican student who has studied overseas for at least one year but less than three years.

Remember though that you may only receive the concession once.
